Frequently asked questions

Is posting an app free?

Yes. Any stage, as many genuine apps, sites, SaaS products or AI tools as you have. There is no paid tier for listings.

Do I need separate founder and participant accounts?

No. One account does everything. You can post apps, run validations, and answer other people's questions from the same sign-in.

What is a validation?

A short set of multiple-choice questions a founder asks about their own listed product: which logo, which name, which price, would you use it. Each question has up to four options and can include images. Real UK people answer, and the founder sees counts and percentages as the answers arrive.

Can I answer questions about my own app?

No. The site prevents it, and so does the database.

What does validation cost?

Founders pay a fixed price per answer: the number of questions times the number of people you want to hear from. The price is shown before you launch, and campaigns have a small minimum spend. Unfilled answers are refunded.

When does paid validation open?

Soon. Post your app or complete your participant profile now and you will be first to know.

How do participants get their rewards?

Every answer adds a fixed amount to your AppDrop balance. Once it reaches the minimum, you choose a gift card from UK brands and claim it with a link, in AppDrop and by email. Whatever is left carries forward. No bank details are needed.

Who can see my details?

Founders see counts and percentages, never who chose what. Your birth month and year are never shown to anyone. Your public profile shows interests, and region only if you turn it on.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from your profile once account deletion is built. Until then, email us and we will remove it.
